Pedro Gimeno's Spectrum Page
This page contains:
- SPECTRUM 0.99F (SPEC099F.ZIP, 74,186 bytes), latest version (dated Aug 1998) of a Spectrum emulator. First
version was started back in 1989.
- SokoBan adaptation (SOKOMUS.ZIP, 8,585 bytes), a S3M adaptation of the tune from the Spectrum version of the
game SokoBan, originally by Agent X.
- ULA Delay Analyzer (TSTP3.ZIP, 4,251 bytes), the program I used to analyze the behaviour of the +2A/+3 and
that James McKay used to analyze the behaviour of the 128K/+2.
- Mikro-Plus ROM Scramble/Unscramble (MKROPLUS.ZIP, 4,576 bytes), the program I used to unscramble the Shadow Of The Unicorn
ROM. If you own a Mikro-Plus device and have unsoldered the EPROM and put
a socket for it, it will let you use any EPROM with it, like the one below.
(Turbo/Borland) Pascal source code included.
- ROM to test R-register (TESTRREG.ZIP, 4,462 bytes), a ROM program designed to test the behaviour of the R
register under various interrupt modes. Comes in three flavours:
AS80 source, pre-assembled ROM and Mikro-Plus ROM. You can get AS80
(a Z80 cross-assembler for DOS) here:
AS80_111.ZIP (56,141 bytes).
- Spectrum Plus 2 Spanish ROM (PL2ESP.ZIP, 25,387 bytes): The Spanish version of the +2 ROM. Many thanks to Antonio
Ortiz for extracting it from his +2.
- Spectrum Plus 3 Spanish ROM (PL3ESP.ZIP, 41,956 bytes): The Spanish version of the +2A/+3 ROM. This one featured
color speed change and (buggy) exit of the "HI THERE I'M A +3" mode.
- Errors generator (ERRORS.ZIP, 1,985 bytes), a BASIC program which produces all possible Spectrum errors.
- TAP Lister (LISTTAP.ZIP, 15,751 bytes): WIN32 console application that lists all blocks in a TAP,
giving the output in HTML format. The UDGs are underlined; the
characters in graphic mode are inserted as PNG images (included)
and prefixed by @PATH@ for easy search & replace with the path
for the images. Looks cool when the HTML code is modified to use
Darko Stanicic's ZX-SPECTRUM TrueType font (91,236 bytes). This program has been used for the
listings of the Microhobby Online project (now apparently extinct).
